The goal
Guess the secret rule that decides which objects the Gatekeeper accepts.
How to play
One player becomes the Gatekeeper
The app privately shows them a rule about objects. Only they know it.
Call out objects
No turn order: everyone throws objects out loud, as fast as they like.
The Gatekeeper answers instantly
“Accepted” or “refused”, no hesitation, no reason given. The phone stays on the table.
Shout YEK IT!
Once you catch the rule, shout “YEK IT!” and explain it to the Gatekeeper in private.
How you win
First player to state the exact rule wins the round. Roughly right is not right.
Tips
- Chain very similar objects: chair then stool, cat then dog.
- Hold two accepted and two refused objects in mind, then find what splits them.
- Sometimes the rule is about the word itself, not the object.
